Challenging the Conventional Approach
Over the years, Scott became very unsatisfied with the traditional approach to muscle health and performance.
He found that conventional approaches yielded quite ordinary and unremarkable results. So, he decided to challenge the approach to rehabilitation and movement in a way that would truly change people’s lives.
The results of his journey are remarkable and have returned radical results for people looking to live a better and active life.
“I went to Scott Frost looking for a miracle for my shoulder. And that’s exactly what I got.”
— Heather Swanson

Scott Frost, M.S.
Kinesiologist
-
Scott developed a passion for mechanics and the workings of the human body during his childhood growing up in New Jersey. And since 2006, he has dedicated himself to helping clients overcome problems that hinder their movement, health and performance.
A multi-sport athlete in his youth, Scott went on to dance professionally in classical and contemporary ballet. His experience with ongoing injuries during his dance career shaped his empathy for others' physical struggles and ignited his desire to solve problems for others like him.
With a deep dive over many years into all aspects of human movement (aka kinesiology) and the experience of thousands of sessions under his belt, he developed a one-of-a-kind approach to corrective exercise that has helped many people with muscle pain and dysfunction regain their physical health.
Later through his own advancements in the field, he built a proprietary data system that will be used to create software to aid future practitioners in the growing field of Applied Kinesiology to solve more problems and help more people.
Scott holds a M.S. in Kinesiology, with a concentration in Biomechanics and Motor Control, from The University of Texas, as well as a B.S. in Neuroscience from The University of Pennsylvania. He also completed post-baccalaureate work in Human Anatomy and Exercise Physiology at Rutgers University. Over the years, he has obtained numerous certifications in the exercise, performance, and sports medicine fields.
Scott is just a Jersey kid living that honky tonk dream. He loves country music dates with his wife, Lauren, and collecting band stickers to put on his ‘Roadie’ Yeti cooler. For Scott, music is everywhere, all of the time - in fact, he is ranked in the .01% of all Spotfy listeners in minutes listened per year! When a free moment presents, he can be found on the range enjoying the intricacies of long-range target shooting (with music in his ears, of course).

Lauren Frost
Business Manager
-
Lauren's journey into health and fitness began during her upbringing in New Jersey. After college, she worked as an actress before transitioning into advertising, marketing, and management. After several years in the corporate world, she moved to Texas after meeting Scott and seized the opportunity to turn her growing interest in health and fitness into a business.
Lauren completed certifications in personal training and behavioral nutrition, then launched a fitness website aimed at helping women who, like her, lacked exposure to weightlifting and building confidence through healthy choices. She ran this site for several years, assisting many women along the way, before co-founding Corrective Muscle Solutions with Scott. Her goal is to bring the innovative techniques pioneered by Scott to a wider audience, helping people reclaim and maintain physical health.
The mix of Lauren's education & experience over her life have come to reflect her journey in marketing, business ownership, and physical health & wellness.
Lauren holds a Bachelor’s degree in Communications from Fairleigh Dickinson University, a personal trainer certification from the National Strength and Conditioning Association, and a Nutrition Coach certification from Precision Nutrition.
Lauren loves the honky-tonk country-music scene with all the fixings. You can find her taking in the music on dive-bars-dates with her husband, Scott. And when alone, she is reading a bit of fiction.
